I was born and raised in Denver Colorado and grew up playing soccer, volleyball and skiing and ultimately loving the outdoors. I never enjoyed lifting weights or being a gym rat. I stayed active until life and children took over. To say the least, I might have enjoyed being pregnant a little too much. The realization that I didn’t feel good was almost overwhelming. The time had come for me to go to the gym and do what I always hated, exercise. I went to the local gym and hired a personal trainer and a crazy thing happened, I enjoyed lifting weights and being your classic gym rat. I enjoyed lifting so much that I was going to gym five days a week. Fast forward 5 years and 30 lbs. lighter, I found myself just as active when I was a kid. And went back to playing my favorite sport, soccer but this time it was indoor. And wouldn’t you know it, one season in and I tore my ACL. I wish I had an awesome story to match but not, I just don’t know how to pivot. But here is where it gets better. After two surgeries, yes two, I was heartbroken thinking my life will never be the same. I wondered how I could ever get back to where I was. And here is where I am 10 years later. I still love to lift weights, have run a marathon and over 15 half marathons and realized during all of this that my passion and heart’s desire is to help people become a better version of themselves. And that is why I choose to become a Pilates Instructor. I want to see people strive to be more and better and to love the body they are in.
Originally from Minneapolis, Mn. Jeni studied dance and theater when at 16yrs old a routine checkup showed a slight curvature in her spine so her doctors decided to fuse her thoracic spine with a titanium rod for prevention of scoliosis. It wasn't until 20 years later she discovered Pilates. Finally an exercise program that didn't limit her because her lack of flexion in her spine. In fact, It was the first time since her younger years she felt as good as she did when she was a dancer. So she decided to get her Certificate as a Pilates Trainer with Pilates Sport Center in Studio City CA. Jeni is inspired everyday by people she has met and trained. To be a part of someone’s transformation to a healthier, better body, and to help them reach their goals and have a greater awareness about their body that transcends to their day to day lives is the best reward around! I believe working out should be fun and not a chore. With Pilates their are so many levels and styles and progressive evolution to the practice you can do it for a lifetime. Whether you are a student or a teacher you can always discover new ways to move, and learn, and in so doing learn new things about yourself in the process! Something fun about me: I'm a goofball and still a thespian at heart. Any chance I can dress up, like Halloween or Renaissance I'm there! And you don't have to ask me twice to sing karaoke. Even if I don't really know the song. :D

I am originally from Kansas City, Missouri and grew up playing softball, volleyball and running track and cross-country. I have been running continuously since I was 14 years old, completing five marathons, including the Boston Marathon and the New York City Marathon, and over a dozen half-marathons and countless 5K and 10K races. I graduated from Drake University and the University of Kansas School of Law and practiced law for 13 years, before moving to Arizona in 2013. An admitted “gym junkie,” I have tried every gym and workout out there, but Pilates was the first workout that inspired me to want to teach it to others. Fifteen months after taking my first class at Club Pilates, I registered for teacher training and completed my certification from Club Pilates in 2018. I love teaching Pilates and sharing my love of fitness – it’s WAY more fun than practicing law. When I’m not teaching, I’m grocery shopping, cooking or doing laundry (I have four teenage sons), golfing, drinking wine with friends, or traveling with my husband.
Originally hailing from Iowa Falls, Iowa, Ashley grew up actively involved in dance, theatre, and teaching (it’s in her blood- both her parents have their Masters in Education). Following her passion for dance and the freedom and joy that movement inspires, she earned her BA in Dance from the University of Iowa, sharing that love through teaching at multiple studios both in Iowa, as well as here in the Valley after her relocation in 2010 to follow her dream of dancing professionally. Having been fortunate enough to work with multiple companies over the past eight years, as a freelance artist and company member, and working with children and adults in the dance medium for the past 13 years, Pilates was a natural transition from the dance world. Introduced to the idea of the Teacher Training program through Club Pilates by fellow former dance company members Jordyn Siegfried and Erin Lovrien, Ashley jumped in with both feet. Having suffered from multiple injuries in her college dance career, but adamant about pursuing a healthy lifestyle for as long as she can remember, Ashley has been both inspired and impressed with the personal healing and physical advancements she’s seen in her own body, as well as those she’s been fortunate enough to work with. Excited by the possibilities and passionate about the journey, Ashley is looking forward to helping other see the potential within themselves that can only truly be unlocked by this “Mind-Body Connection” that Joseph Pilates knew to be true so many years ago. In addition to pursuing all things health, Ashley loves being outdoors, especially if it involves the woods or water, creating handmade gifts for those she loves, cooking, and spending time with her friends and fiancée, Jon, and, of course, dancing.

Jen was introduced to pilates in 2011 during a physical therapy session after an accident where she was ejected from a vehicle. She fell in love with the pilates method because it made her feel even stronger than she was before the accident. She wanted to share that knowledge with everyone she knew, so she went through a comprehensive teacher training program in Santa Monica California before moving back to her hometown of Phoenix Arizona to start her teaching career. Outside of the studio Jen enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors with her dog.
